This was one of the best wine tours we have done!
This was one of the best wine tours we have done – and we have done a few across the world! Morey was great, right from the first email I sent he was very helpful and informative. He helped us with the train information to get there and then helped us change our tickets for the return the return trip. It was interesting to learn about the Koshu wine and Koshu Valley he organised the tour to suit our taste of white wines although we got to taste some reds as well. Morey then took us to one of his favorite local restaurants at the base of the mountains, it was perfect! The setting and the food was outstanding we could not have asked for more. Thank you for a wonderful day Morey, we will be telling all our friends who come to Japan about you and your fantastic tour. Hopefully we will see you again.

We had an amazing time touring select wineries in the Koshu valley with Morey. He was a lot of fun and seemed to have a great rapport with the wineries we visited. The lunch was delicious and set in a wonderful historic setting… and the wines selected to try were really nice. I recommend this tour for a great day out experiencing the tastes, culture and beauty of this region.

Our group of four joined Morey for a wonderful one-day tour of the beautiful Koshu Valley. After pick up in Kofu we were introduced to several local wine producers, where we sampled a wide range of Koshu wines and learned about Japan’s distinctive winemaking traditions, including the Koshu grape and other varietals. We enjoyed a delicious homemade pasta lunch at a family-run restaurant. Morey’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and easygoing personality made the experience special from start to finish.
